Introducing the innovative Banca Investis conversational app that leverages AI to create a new model for customer-bank interactions, helping customers successfully navigate the “investment jungle”
Expert.ai is among the tech partners of the innovative new app NIWA (the “Next Intelligent Wealth Advisor”) from Banca Investis S.p.A, which is specialized in the High Net Worth Individual segment for optimizing wealth management (financial, real estate and corporate) of its target customers.
The main goal of the project is to harness the potential of AI, particularly generative AI, to offer customers a completely new way to interact with the bank and communicate with their banker via the app.
NIWA’s content is tailored based on user behaviors and aligned with their interests and needs, allowing customers to choose to receive information on their portfolio trends or market-based news and views. Artificial intelligence handles the monitoring and selection of content from chosen sources and enables human-like, conversational chat interactions for updates on current events that could impact the market. These interactions are also available to Banca Investis’s team of bankers, enabling them to provide even more precise and comprehensive customer support.

The conversational app created by Banca Investis is the result of collaboration among several partners, including Bain & Company, which directed the strategic consulting and user experience design; Codermine, which developed the app; IF Informatica Finanziaria, responsible for the financial engine; and, for artificial intelligence, BestFit, which enabled customer profiling starting from a questionnaire, while expert.ai, in synergy with Bain, focused on perfecting the AI engine to ensure comprehensive and high-quality responses.
